  • Manage version control and participate in Agile development practices
  • Provide technical support for internal IT infrastructure
  • Occasionally lift and transport equipment up to 30 lbs

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with first-line IT support (e.g., password resets, VPN unlocks)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Ability to work effectively in small teams

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with networking and IT infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm
  • Experience with Nvidia Jetsons
  • Understanding of license compliance
  • Interest in machine learning and AI applications
  • Strong technical writing skills

Security Clearance Requirements:

Due to the nature of this company’s work in the aerospace and defense sectors, candidates must meet security clearance requirements, including:

  • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Residency in Canada for the past 10 years
  • No extended travel outside Canada for more than six consecutive months in the past decade
  • Disclosure of dual citizenship, if applicable

Benefits

  • Paid Vacation: 5 weeks of flexible paid time off, plus an additional paid week during the holiday season (total of 6 weeks)
  • Health Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on your first day
  • Professional Development: Training and development allowances to support career growth
  • Relocation Support: A 10% salary top-up for those relocating to Kelowna, BC, paid out quarterly
  • Remote Work Perks: For remote employees, the company covers costs for quarterly meetings in Kelowna and offers a $6,000 annual travel budget for work-related trips
