  • Design, develop, and maintain new features, bug fixes, and core products.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Integrate third-party services such as Stripe, Google, and Twilio into applications.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and collaborative development.
  • Manage and deploy applications using DevOps best practices.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end tests for platform reliability.
  • Contribute to Figma specs and become a domain expert in the company’s solutions.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Node.js and React.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and deploying production applications.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience integrating third-party services into applications.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to take ownership in a small, fast-paced team.
  • Experience maintaining legacy systems is an asset.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring at least one in-office day per week in downtown Vancouver.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 CAD, plus a stock options package.
  • Comprehensive benefits (dental, vision, health) through Pacific Blue Cross.
  • Outdoor Prolink membership for discounted outdoor gear.
  • Modern downtown office with a view of the North Shore mountains.
  • Annual team offsite to foster collaboration and connection.
  • Play a key role in a female-founded, mission-driven company tackling plastic waste.
  • Work on cutting-edge tech that removes cost and complexity barriers for reusable packaging adoption.
  • Be part of a team that values sustainability, innovation, and diversity.
