As part of our engineering team, you’ll help build a recommendation system that aligns candidates with job opportunities based on hiring manager requirements, assessment scores, and real-time feedback. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to enhance candidate-job matching based on structured and unstructured data.
- Apply NLP techniques to extract insights from resumes, job descriptions, and hiring feedback.
- Design, train, and fine-tune recommendation models, including collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid approaches.
- Build scalable, real-time data pipelines that integrate seamlessly with hiring platforms.
- Work closely with the Tech Lead, engineering team, product, design, and founders to align machine learning solutions with business goals.
- Optimize system performance for speed, accuracy, and efficiency to deliver real-time recommendations.
- Mentor and coach a junior data scientist, guiding them through technical challenges and best practices.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a focus on recommendation systems.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of recommendation algorithms (e.g., collaborative filtering, content-based filtering) and NLP techniques.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including resumes, job descriptions, and feedback.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) for model deployment and scalability.
This is a part-time contract role for 30 hours per month at a rate of $90–$100 per hour. This contract offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on AI-driven hiring solutions. 4. Client Submission
After crafting your unbiased profile, we submit it to our trusted clients. We work closely with these clients to ensure they understand the value you bring. Throughout their interview process, we remain by your side, providing support and guidance. Our goal is to help you navigate the hiring process smoothly and confidently, ensuring you have the best chance to secure a role that fits your skills and aspirations.
