As this company establishes its AI practice, they are seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in shaping and growing the domain. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial technologist to develop innovative AI solutions, working across a variety of industries to drive disruption and create real-world impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Design and develop practical Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions for a variety of industries.
  • Build reusable AI libraries and frameworks to support multiple ventures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations) to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and impact of AI solutions through research and proof-of-concept projects.
  • Take a structured approach to problem-solving, testing and comparing different AI models and implementations.
  • Tackle data challenges, including working with incomplete, biased, or limited datasets.
  • Utilize synthetic data generation and augmentation techniques to improve model performance.
  • Communicate findings and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in AI.
  • Support project teams in the successful execution and deployment of AI solutions.
 

Requirements

 
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions in real-world applications.
  • Experience in early-stage startups or building AI solutions from scratch is preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise with Generative AI frameworks and machine learning tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with AI agent composition, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations, and model fine-tuning.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and leveraging LLMs (Large Language Models) effectively.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a 0-to-1 environment.
  • Passion for navigating ambiguity and bringing conceptual ideas to life.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical ideas to diverse audiences.
